GL Reynolds was founded by Dr Gillian Reynolds. Gill has worked extensively on environment and sustainability matters for over twenty five years, initially at Lloyd’s Register where she led the development of their environment and sustainability activities in the Marine field and latterly as an independent environment and sustainability consultant.

Gill has a degree in biochemistry, MSc in oceanography and PhD in the field of aquatic ecology. She is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) and Chair of the IMarEST Special Interest Group on Emissions from Shipping. Gill lectures widely on environmental and sustainability issues, legislation and approaches to pollution control. She is also a qualified EU ETS CO2 emission verifier and ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 lead assessor.
